MINT is a new Music Industry Networking event that happens the first Thursday of each month.

Our goal is to connect music industry professionals including but not limited to musicians, producers, funders, vocalists, marketing and PR professionals etc. We have found that it is hard to break into the current music industry culture and that there is not enough support for South African musicians at large or respect for those behind the scenes. Therefore, we would like to find ways to create our own opportunities and work and also provide work to others that are overlooked even though their excellence speaks volumes.

Last month we held our first MINT Event with Producer and owner of iBillion Jonathan Shaw, who shared his knowledge of Copyright and especially Copyright in an AI world.

We networked with music professionals and were serenaded by musicians Refilwe Sediti, Dumisani Vilakazi aka, Bones and Eaz’52.

Our Second event will take place on Thursday, 4th July 2024.
