Experience the Magic of Connection with Zip Zap Circus’s A Piece of Us.
Looking for an unforgettable way to spend the festive season? Zip Zap Circus invites you to A Piece of Us — a mesmerising performance blending breathtaking circus arts, live music, and powerful visual storytelling.
From 12 to 22 December, step into The Zip Zap Dome, Jan Smuts Street, Cape Town, and be transported into a world where individuality and unity collide in spectacular harmony.
Directed by celebrated circus artist Iesu Escalante, this all-new show spotlights six incredible Dare2Dream students on their journey of self-discovery and connection.
Watch as their solo explorations transform into a heart-stirring celebration of community, with every flip, twist, and leap telling a story of courage, growth, and togetherness.
Adding to the magic, live music by Colombian drummer Andrés Rodríguez Bravo infuses the show with rhythm and energy, weaving sound and movement into an unforgettable sensory experience.
Director Iesu Escalante shares his inspiration: “We wanted to create something that celebrates the beauty of each individual journey while showcasing the strength we find together. A Piece of Us is a reminder that we’re all stronger when we stand as one.”
The Dome’s intimate setting puts you right in the heart of the action, ensuring every moment feels up close and personal. Before the show, grab a bite from local food trucks, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. After the show, the fun doesn’t end! Stick around to meet the talented cast.
For performer Morgan Moult, A Piece of Us is more than just a show: “This performance is an opportunity for the cast to work to together and give the audience a new experience, showing the world that there’s more to life than being in an office.”
Don’t miss your chance to experience the joy, connection, and inspiration of A Piece of Us.
