Wendinmi’s “Welcome to Vegas” featuring Ryan Jada fuses the sounds of Hip Hop and Afrobeat into a high energy party song guaranteed to get you hyped to get back to Las Vegas.
The song was inspired by his love for Vegas. Wendinmi decided that he wanted to give something back to the city and so wrote this party song dedicated to a city that “is always moving”.
Born in Burkina Faso, he grew up listening to Afrobeats, Reggae and Rap. Wendinmi immigrated to the US in 2011, and decided to create his own style; by mixing Afrobeat sounds with American style beats.
Wendinmi has several creative outlets in addition to being a recording artist. He also designs fashion, a talent he credits to his mother, a well-known designer in Burkina Faso. He gets his musical influence from French Rap Group IAM, Reggae Group Culture and Bob Marley.
