First season finale brings Baroque elegance, new commissions, Jazz-icons and orchestral spectacle to the stage.

The Endler Concert Series’ First Season has already drawn enthusiastic audiences, with a string of sold-out concerts and full halls testifying to the power and reach of live music in the heart of Stellenbosch. As the first half of the series heads into its final stretch this June, audiences can look forward to a rich and diverse offering—from world premieres and visiting international artists to jazz legends, top youth ensembles, and glittering orchestral tributes.

June’s standout event arrives on Saturday 21 June, when the Stellenbosch City Orchestra (SCO) brings the golden age of swing to the Endler in Fly Me to the Moon. Conducted by Paul van Zuilenburg, and featuring star vocalists Lynelle Kenned and Louis Loock, this glittering concert celebrates the timeless hits of Frank Sinatra and his contemporaries—from New York, New York to My Way. A one-night-only affair not to be missed.

As Van Zuilenburg notes, “With the lush sound of the orchestra and two captivating soloists, this concert celebrates the music that defined a generation.” Early booking is strongly advised.

Finale: Tygerberg Children’s Choir Gala

The First Season draws to a joyful close on Sunday 22 June with the Tygerberg Children’s Choir Gala Concert, conducted by Karina Erasmus. Recognised as one of the world’s top children’s choirs, the ensemble presents a heartwarming mix of classical, contemporary, and traditional repertoire—an inspiring finale to a spectacular season.
