South Africa’s number 1 music festival Liefde by die Dam is back this year in Johannesburg and Cape -Town and is also being held for the first time in Namibia as Liefde by die Nam. This popular festival is known for huge crowds in front of big stages featuring a series of artists representing top-class Afrikaans pop and alternative sounds. Liefde by die Dam kicks off this year in Johannesburg on August 5th at Emmarentia Dam and fans can look forward to performances by Die Heuwels Fantasties, Early B, Fokofpolisiekar, Robbie Wessels, Kurt Darren, Droomsindroom, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Riana Nel, Tasché and many more.

In September, the Liefde- team will travel to Namibia for the very first Liefde by die Nam concert at Vegkop WHS in Windhoek on September 9th. Francois van Coke, Apple, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Tasché, Early B and many more artists will be performing there. Get ready for groot gees at this new Liefde festival!

Cape Town, get ready for your turn on November 4th at Meerendal. Spoegwolf, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Riaan Benadé, Apple, Droomsindroom, Francois van Coke, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Karlien van Jaarsveld and more renowned artists are going to treat you to a great day out at this beautiful wine estate. The popular comedian and actor Schalk Bezuidenhout will, as always, be the MC at Liefde Cape Town and will ensure that everything runs smoothly, with lekker vibes!

Early B is one of the artists regularly seen on the Liefde by die Dam stage, and this year he will be performing at all three concerts. He says: “It’s always an honor to perform even at one, but to experience this in the different cities and in Namibia, is quite a big deal for me! It’s also about more than just music. The festival-goers are asked to donate blankets to charity to spread some love. So, the festival is about more than just music. It’s true to its name.”

Tasché will also be performing at Liefde this year in Johannesburg, Cape Town and NAM. She says: “Love is for Everyone. It gets bigger every year and it’s not just any festival. Every year the production leaves the festival-goers in awe. If I say I’m excited, it’s an understatement. I can’t wait!”
