Still the only band to appear twice in the ‘top 11 best-selling singles of all time in the UK’ for Rivers of Babylon and Mary’s Boy Child/Oh My Lord, they dominated the European charts in the late 70s and 
early 80s. 8 albums and 43 years later, Boney M is still performing sold out shows all over the world, evidence of their timelessness.
This will be their third visit to SA, the first a 10-show run at Sun City Super Bowl in 1984 and the second a string of Christmas shows across the country in 2011.
Although the group has gone through numerous member changes, super fans will be very happy to know that Liz Mitchell, the original 
lead singer of Boney M, will be performing the songs that we all know and love.
Naughty or nice, we obviously did something right to deserve Boney M, the foursome that made Christmas cool, serenading us in the flesh, through all of our Christmas nostalgia.
With this announcement, we foresee Boney M tickets going straight to the top of everyone’s wish list; better act fast. Warm up those falsettos and start practicing Mary’s Boy Child; it’s going to be a spectacular Christmas.
