Since his last offering, BandaBanda’s followers have been begging and he’s answered – bassist, producer and composer has a long awaited BandaBanda&TheCrocodiles Project. 

BandaBanda is known for his love of music and eccentric way of approaching the bass. Spending time with the likes of Bheki Mseleku and Sandile Shange to name a few, has contributed to his growth and taste in music.

Over the years he has toured with the industries luminaries such as Sibongile Khumalo, Hugh Masekela, Busi Mhlongo, Madala Kunene and Thandiswa Mazwai.

The BandaBanda&TheCrocodiles Project came about as a concept of collaboration and cultural exchange with celebrated, versatile musicians from different parts of the world. Incorporating the colourful overtones of world music, popular music, jazz and traditional folk we have an intensely hued experience to salivate on.

As one who is outspoken about being African, he dedicates his sound as an African voice to be heard universally. With the diverse influences of different cultures and backgrounds we can expect to be moved in identity, storytelling and a transcendent musical journey.
