Theatre on the Square is proud to present a new theatrical gem, an original pocket musical, THE UNDONE. The production showcases the talents of the already accomplished singer, dancer, actress and now debut playwright SERENA STEINHAUER at the tender age of 22 years.
THE UNDONE tells the story of resilience across the test of time, through the voice of three powerful and brave women who dare to say what has been left unsaid. It is a story of life, loss and a story of great strength. The stories are an ode to life – the humour, the tragedy, the loss and the success of it all.
Written and starring SERENA STEINHAUER, a performer from Johannesburg about to embark on her journey to New York City, THE UNDONE is inspired by great women who have overcome great calamity; have been a beacon of empowerment to all around them; and whom Serena has been fortunate to encounter during her lifetime.
Under the expert direction of ALAN SWERDLOW and with original music by BRYAN SCHIMMEL, THE UNDONE joins three theatre forces into an exciting, thought-provoking production.
